TANNER ENGINEERING recently completed the design and construction documents for the 1 MW STC photovoltaic project at Santee Lakes/ Padre Dam facilities in Santee, California.
The project consists of three separate power generating facilities on one site incorporating the latest in Solar panel technologies and infrastructure distribution. The facility will utilize the energy from over 14,200 modules to generatedonsite power for the Waste Water Treatment operations and associated recreational park facilities.
An accelerated schedule, and extremely tight construction and performance guidelines, had to be maintained in order to fulfill the mandated financing restrictions on this project. This system came in on time and is producing the anticipated power production as designed.
Tanner Engineering is presently working on the designs for Phases 2 & 3 of the Alternative Energy Generation Master Plan for this site.
